Very clean and great location!
My husband and I stayed at Ilikai Marina in early July. We were very impressed how clean the condo was and loved the extra amenities of beach towels, lawn chairs, etc. The location was perfect to walk out and enjoy the beach or lagoon or take a walk on the beach walk. We loved having the kitchen to eat in when we wanted to, but enjoyed having plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We enjoy hiking, snorkeling and anything outdoors so the free parking was a huge bonus along with having laundry right down the hall. The balcony was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks on Friday night. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay in your condo again. Thank you!!

Beyond our wildest dreams
Everything about this apartment is sensational, the views, the sheer luxury of the place the attention to detail where your every need is catered for and it’s convenient location, only a 15 minute walk to downtown Waikiki in one direction and roughly the same to a huge shopping complex in the other direction. It also has two excellent restaurants without leaving the building and a supermarket just opposite. It is very roomy but only suitable for couples.

Great digs in a great location
We spent five nights at Ilikai 882 on a bonefishing/Oahu scouting visit. The condo has a great view over the ocean for those who love sunsets and was wonderfully stocked for a very comfortable stay, including beach chairs, etc. It was just steps from the famed Waikiki beachwalk that begins at the Hilton lagoon and extends all the way to the Diamond Head district. It was within walking distance of all the sights, shopping, and eating of Waikiki but was free of the 24/7 insanity of that district. The free parking that’s included made it easy to have a car for easy getaways from the city, with great access to the H1 leading to all other areas of Oahu. This condo is a keeper, and we will definitely stay here next time we’re in Honolulu.

A true gem
Looking at condos on VRBO I saw a reference to the Ilikai Marina which sent me searching till I found this property on the 8th Floor. What a find as this condo is so well located, furnished/accessorised and clean making our stay a stress free break. It has a full kitchen and the laundry is on that floor and so convenient and the sunset over the marina was nice to look at. There is a folder in the condo which is full of information however, on arrival just remember to look near the phone for WiFi password. I hadn’t seen code but an email to Timothy was promptly replied to, as all correspondence through the whole booking. Timothy was always helpful and accommodating and I thank you for making a special holiday for my husband and I easier.

The Ilikai Marina doesn’t have a pool but a short walk towards the Hilton gives you both the lagoon or the ocean. It was great having the straw mats and towels to take with us and the abc store sells inflatable beds or tubes for $2.99. We enjoyed the walk to and fro Kalakaua Ave (15-20m), in the evening for dinner, especially Halloween night which was a first for us. If preferred “The Bus” public transport leaves from around the corner and if you Google you will get timetable…we actually used it to get to Pearl Harbor which was only $2.50 each way and we stopped on the way back to see other sights using transfer coupon. Great Apartment, Great Price!
We stayed in this apartment for six nights. The apartment was clean and fresh. The furniture was in as new condition. The bed and bed linen was clean and comfortable. The views were to die for!! If you can arrive on a Friday, they have fireworks every Friday night about 7.30pm. Enjoy them from the Lanai with a glass of bubbly for the best views in town! The owner is very friendly and answers any questions quickly. I highly recommend this apartment and look forward to returning some time in the future.

Perfect location for first time visitors
A very comfortable condo with a great kitchen and very nice location. Condo is quiet and spacious enough for two people. Ten minutes walk to Alo Moana shopping centre and 25 minute walk to Waikiki which is a much busier location.
There is a laundry on the same floor with plenty of waters and dryers.
Definitely a place I would stay a second time.

Well Appointed Unit
Spent our 40th anniversary here in March (2015). Close enough to the action to be in the midst of it, but also sufficiently removed to enjoy peace and quiet; and the wonderful view of the marina and sunsets. Well positioned to enjoy the fireworks displays. Unit is very well appointed in decor and has all the necessities to make it “just like home”.

We departed Hawaii around 8 pm. While we did not want to impose, we do want to thank the property manager for her kind offer to stay in the unit beyond the checkout time.

Best bet for Honolulu
This review is for the 8th floor Ilikai Marina Condo.
The location for exploring Honolulu is perfect. Close enough to the action in Waikiki, but slightly removed for more peace. Great location to avoid heavy traffic in and out of tourist areas. You could easily stay here w/o a car but as parking is included a small rental vehicle is recommended to explore the island.
The condo is immaculate, comfortable, well furnished and has a spectacular view of the marina and ocean. I have looked extensively and I don’t think there is a better value in Honolulu. We stayed 5 nights and wished we had booked more.

A wonderful Month
We just spent a wonderful month in the condo. From the fireworks on Friday nights to the views of the marina and lagoon/ocean, this condo has everything we want. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to eat most meals after just a short 6 minute walk to the food store. The condo is just a short walk to central Waikiki Beach and Ala Moana Beach Park.
We certainly will return to this condo again!

Great location and sunsets

Lovely condo!
My husband and I and our son stayed here and had a wonderful time. The unit is pristine, and very easy to get in and out of. It is centrally located and an easy walk to restaurants and the beach. It is very close to the beautiful mall as well.

Honolulu gem
This is a wonderful condo for either short or long stays. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into making a home away from home. The views are stunning and the fireworks shows are a spectacular sight. There were two during our five night stay.
We walk a lot so found the grocery store and Ala Moana mall easy distances away. You are close to a wonderful park and quiet and protected beaches. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Honolulu condo
I stayed in this condo for two weeks and it was just about perfect. The decor is just as the pictures show, tastefully done and inviting. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. I suspect the building has many vacation rentals but it nevertheless felt very quiet. I also loved the location because it was an easy walk to the craziness of Waikiki but not in it. The only downside is that the patio is very, very small. Really too small to sit on comfortable so I just threw open the sliding glass door, pulled my chair right up to the edge of it and enjoyed the outdoors that way.

Honolulu marathon
Rented this condo with my adult daughter and son when we went to Honolulu to run the marathon. Unit is close to the start, expo, food, beach, and shopping. The unit was very clean, had great views and Tim was very responsive to emails. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful stay
Tim’s condo is truly a little bit of paradise. The condo has all the amenities, from beach chairs to coffee filters. The location is ideal. Public transportation is at the corner, and its an easy stroll to the ala moana shopping center. Chart house restaurant ant the harbor pub in the building, red lobster and outback steak house on the block. The beach is steps away. Setting up our stay was a breeze, we had all questions answered immediately. I would definitely stay there again, and would highly recommend to it friends. Mahalo for a wonderful experience.

We had an exceptional stay at #882. Location cannot be beat, was very clean and everything functioned very well. No complaints and will be back some time for sure. The property was accurately described and had all the things promised.
Would highly recommend USS Missouri visit. We also took a day to drive around the North Shore and watch the surfers – good thing to do and stop at one of the placess for garlic shrimp!!! Lots of choices on meals – P J Chang has great happy hour.

Ilikai Marina Waikiki
The condo was perfect for our recent visit to Hawaii. The owner was extremely prompt in answering any questions we had before we arrived and accurately listed complete details on the condo. The view of the marina from 8 floors up was beautiful. The condo has every amenity you could imagine and is very clean, up to date and well maintained. Wonderful Time!
Beautiful property and very well appointed. The kitchen has been recently remodeled and is very nice. The property is located in the most convenient place on Waikiki and we loved the Chart House restaurant just downstairs. This unit will not disappoint! Wonderful dishes, glasses and utensils. We ate every meal on the patio and it was perfect.

Fabulously located
Stunning sunsets. Beautiful views from the balcony of the harbor and the Hilton lagoon. We watched the Navy ships and submarines leave Pearl Harbor every morning. You can walk to everything. We definitely will stay here again. Tim responded to every question almost immediately and helped make our stay memorable.
